Ice cream from the sky and a sassy little snow-woman

We've had such a fun time in the snow yesterday and today! Last night Paige and I went out while it was still snowing to collect some fresh snow (before the cats could jump all over it) for snow ice cream. It was such a sweet little treat! Paige nicked-named it "Ice cream from the sky".

Paige and I ventured outside today to attempt to assemble a snow-woman. We froze our bippies and knees off rolling up snowballs, fighting off the dogs, and trying our best to make the perfect snow-woman. Well, she was a little less than perfect...she had one large hip, so we decided to make her pose like our niece, Alyssa, in the famous "hips" stance. We scrounged up some twigs for arms and a mouth and stuck on some rocks for eyes. Man, she's a beauty! Paige informed me while we were building that she'd never made a snowman before...what a neglectful mother I must be! Anyway, here are a couple pictures of the sassy snow-woman and Paige.
